Violin Facts You & I
Want to Know!

Everyday in our lives, we may see funny, interesting, unbelievable violin facts from books, magazines, advertisements or the internet, and even when we are playing the violin!

While putting up content here on Ultimate Violin Tools.com, I stumbled upon many things which I want to share with my fellow violin lovers here.

Violin Spider

For example, I'm surprised to find that there is an insect that looks like the violin! It is called the Violin Spider. There are descriptions that say it looks like the violin by looking from an angle.

But I can't see a violin out of it. Maybe I need your help :D

If you would like to find out more, click here or the picture to study the spider closer on Wikipedia.

You can have a close look at the spider here. It is called Brown Recluse or Fiddleback spiders in Florida. My fellow violin lover, TC from Florida too, is bitten by it before (Ouch!), a bite which leaves an open wound and loss of flesh (Ouch!!).

I hope that didn't scare you off! XD

But, it has been a truly humbling experience for me. The more I write, the more I realise that there are actually many more amusing violin facts, which I knew little of.

I share my findings with my fellow violin lovers (including you), and I do enjoy a lot! But now, I'd like to turn the tables on you.

If you have discovered a fascinating piece of news regarding the violin, or related to the violin, I would love to hear them. And our fellow violin lovers too!

So how about sharing with us...

  • an old violin that has been kept in your house for years, and just been dug up by you? (or just a picture of it that says it all...)

  • you discover a piece of great news that will benefit us, violin lovers?

  • you heard of the latest findings or research of the violin and its accessories that many violinists are unaware of?

  • you see the latest value of the 'Most Expensive Violin'?

  • you know of a creative way to play the violin? (I don't know...)

  • you have another way of using the violin other than playing it?

In other words, you may share anything about the violin, its accessories, violin news, violin facts...

Alright. I know you can't wait any longer to share out the joy of discovering some great (or funny) info about violin with us.

Just type into the form below, and I will convert it into a webpage, just like these wonderful contributions...
